Educational IT Services
At Scion we are very involved in local schools, some of which Scion staff children attend. We are fully aware of the ever increasing need for the high level of technical support required by schools, often struggling to cope with these requirements, yet having to implement and understand the technology, with often limited financial and technical resources.
Scion staff has combined experience of over 20 years supporting all level of education requirements from simple PC maintenance, system implementation and upgrade to developing a Standard Operating Environment that conforms to individual school requirement but fits in with and policy directed from education authorities. To this end we actively work with relevant authorities within the education sector to ensure legal and policy compliance. With some of clients we have actively represented their concerns and assisted in their correspondence with their authorities, often providing increased response to their needs.
Children learning are one area where most IT Companies involve themselves in, but Scion recognises that the teachers and administration staff need support in their everyday computer needs. We assist them by support in the design of better infrastructure, offering alternative hardware and software options relevant to teaching better lessons, and achieving more from existing resources.
Scion is able to sit down with your school and look at simple day to day improvements that can provide both substantial gains in network performance and system reliability, and looking into the future, of being able to provide to your children and school staff a better learning experience using IT.
